REGISTRATION FULL: Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) WA 14th February 2018

ERCP can be a technically challenging diagnostic and therapeutic procedure. Many nurses are not regularly involved with ERCP procedures, which can make gaining and maintaining proficiency challenging. It is important for nurses to have a good knowledge and understanding of the procedure and how the instruments are used. This course will focus on the relevant pancreaticobiliary anatomy and physiology, indications for ERCP, devices used for the procedure, the nurses role and the teamwork necessary for successful performance of ERCP.

Nurses may claim this course as 6 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity.
