CelonLab ENT is the intelligent power control unit used for the deployment of the bipolar RFITT applicators in ENT procedures. As the centrepiece of the Celon ENT system, the innovative Celon Lab ENT serves to control the bipolar RFITT applicators, the Celon Pro Cut system as well as the bipolar forceps. Celon Lap monitors and regulates the entire soft coagulation process automatically.

Using the innovative CelonENT System, ENT-specialists are for the first time in a position to generate lesions of predefined and reproducible dimensions in tissue.

During the soft coagulation process, radiofrequency current flows exclusively in the exactly defined surroundings of the treatment site. Soft coagulation is achieved in only a few seconds as a rule.

Automatic dose control by CelonLab ENT takes care of controlled power output into the tissue. As soft coagulation proceeds, changes occur in the electrical resistance of the tissue involved. The 3D impedance feedback control "3D-impedance control" of CelonLab ENT continuously checks the coagulation process and regulates the energy output. On reaching the pre-defined impedance threshold in the tissue, the power output is reduced automatically. Soft coagulation is terminated, and an acoustic signal from CelonLab ENT informs the attending physician.

As an add-on for the CelonLab ENT power control unit, the CelonProCut System presents a simple procedure for cutting tissue, which is gentle to the patient.

Based on the bipolar technology used, no neutral electrode attached to the patient is necessary in this case either – the surgical forceps used serve as a return electrode at the same time. Bleeding tendency is slight as a result of the simultaneous coagulation effects of the system.

The CelonProCut System facilitates rapid and precise cuts. Postoperative exposure of the patient to pain is considerably less than that encountered in conventional cutting procedures.
